How Winners Are Chosen
Judging happens in two rounds. A panel of professors and PhD students reviews every project and selects the top 10 finalists. On Monday at 12:30 PM, finalists present live on stage at the Reitz Union, where the winners are picked. At least one member of each team must attend the finals and awards ceremony in person to remain eligible for an award; teams with no representative present cannot win.
