How Winners Are Chosen
Judging happens in two rounds. A panel of assigned judges reviews every project and selects the top 10 finalists. On Monday from 10:15 to 11:15 AM, finalists present live on stage at the Reitz Union, and the winners are announced at the AI Student Competition Awards at 12:15 PM. At least one member of each team must attend the 10:15 AM finals in person to remain eligible for an award; teams with no representative present cannot win.
